The Canal du Center is designed for ships up to 1350 tons. The opening of it in September 2002 allowed the doubling of the number of annual ship transits, while the tonnage of transported cargo increased from 282,000 tons in 2000 to 1 513 000 tons in 2004.

[PL] Most kanałowy Sart na Canal du Centre Grande zbudowany nad blisko 500 metrową doliną, o wysokości od 12 do 20 metrów, przy czym kanał w miejscu "mostu" ma 33 metrów szerokości i ponad 4 metry głębokości.

Kanał du Centre jest przeznaczony dla statków o pojemności do 1350 ton. Otwarcie go we wrześniu 2002 roku pozwoliło na podwojenie ilości rocznych tranzytów statków, natomiast tonaż przewożonych ładunków zwiększył się z 282 000 ton w 2000 roku do 1 513 000 ton w 2004 roku.
