In the first post I wrote that cycling is my passion. Unfortunately, this year there was no opportunity for so many rides. First, the bad weather, then other duties made me drive only 3 or 4 times this year. I hope that this will change soon and I will be able to share the relationship with current journeys.

In the meantime, I would like to share a report from one of my last year's expeditions. I invite you to a round bike tour from Nimy through Beloeil, Ath and Soignies to Nimy.

The weather was not so good, after about 17 km of driving I stopped at Neufmaison to assess whether to go further and check possibly where I can avoid rainfall.

I decided to continue the ride towards the Blaton - Ath channel, and the possible direction along the channel would be chosen as I will be on the bike path along the canal.

Because I noticed more white clouds in the north-east, I decided to go towards Ath. Picture taken on 25,5 km.

And it turned out to be an excellent choice, because till the end of my ride was excellent weather. Another stop for picture on 26,7 km.

I have travelled this way many times, but this time I decided to stop at most of the drawbridges and photograph them. This one was taken on 28,3 km.

Usually, when I was driving along the canal, I crossed this bridge (30,1 km) to the other side and headed towards the house. This time I decided to ride to the unknown to Ath, or maybe further.

This is the first of the bridges on the south side of the city (33,4 km).

This time I drove along the canal through the entire city, on its north side I had to cross the channel, then I decided that it was time to go to better known areas, towards my house. (36,9 km)

For the rest of the way, I did not stop except for one exception when I passed a parade of old tractors (57 km).
