To był piękny dzień na Mazurach, pogoda dopisała, córka i żona miały swoje sprawy, a ja mogłem po prostu wyjść z domu przed siebie na długi spacer. Okrężną drogą przez Szafranki dotarłem najpierw nad Jezioro Jakuba, a chwilę później tunelem pod torami nad Jezioro Drwęckie.

[ENG] It was a beautiful day in the Masuria region, the weather was fine, my daughter and wife had their affairs, and I could just leave the house for a long walk. A circular road through Szafranki led me first to Jakub Lake, and a moment later through a tunnel under the tracks to Drwęckie Lake.

Po dawnym torowisku, ostatnie podkłady kolejowe zerwano nie tak dawno, doszedłem do mostu nad przesmykiem łączącym dwie części jeziora Drwęckiego. Idąc dalej doszedłem do jeszcze jednego jeziora - Czarnego. Te jezioro jest znacznie mniejsze i ukrywa się w leśnych ostępach. Wracając do miasta rozejrzałem się za grzybami.

[ENG] Following the former railway track, the last sleepers of which were torn off not so long ago, I reached the bridge over the isthmus connecting the two parts of Drwęckie Lake. Going further I reached another lake - Czarny Lake. This lake is much smaller and is hidden in the forest backwoods. Returning to the city I looked for mushrooms.

Nie znam się na grzybach, więc ograniczyłem się do fotograficznego grzybobrania.

[ENG] I don't know much about mushrooms, so I limited myself to photographic mushrooming.

Wieczorem poszliśmy do miasta zobaczyć jak wygląda życie "nocne" na bulwarach nad jeziorem Drwęckim. Niestety myślę, że więcej oznak życia znalazł łazik Curiosity na Marsie niż my na reprezentacyjnym bulwarze mazurskiego miasteczka. Oprócz jednego food trucka z którego leciało głośne disco polo nie działo się nic, a ludzi można było policzyć na palcach dłoni.

[ENG] In the evening we went to the city to see what the night life looks like on the boulevards by Drwęckie Lake. Unfortunately, I think that the Curiosity rover found more signs of life on Mars than we did on the representative boulevard of the Masurian town. Apart from one food truck with loud disco polo, there was nothing going on and people could be counted on the fingers of a hand.
