Po aktywnym weekendzie poniedziałek był bardzo leniwy. Przed południem zrobiłem porządki w piwnicy, gdyż w przyszłym tygodniu przewiozę rzeczy córki ze stancji, więc będę potrzebował każdego centymetra. Myślałem, że po południu będzie okazja na jakąś aktywność, ale pogoda się pogorszyła i zaczęło padać. Bynajmniej takie lenistwo było mi potrzebne, jutro nadrobię zaległości, gdyż wciąż mam wolne.

[ENG] After an active weekend, Monday was very lazy. I did some tidying in the basement before noon, as I'll be transporting my daughter's stuff from the state next week, so I'll need every inch of it. I thought there would be a chance for some activity in the afternoon, but the weather deteriorated and it started to rain. At least I needed such laziness, I'll catch up tomorrow as I still have the day off.

Próbowałem obejrzeć włoski dramat "Fortuna - dziewczynka wśród olbrzymów", fabuła luźno oparta na rzeczywistych tragicznych wydarzeniach na przedmieściach Neapolu, nie chodzi bynajmniej o mafię, tylko molestowanie seksualne kilkuletnich dzieci przez sąsiada z blokowiska. Film w mocno artystycznej formie i trudny w odbiorze, ale moją uwagę zwróciła pierwsza scena, a w zasadzie jej tło. Od początku wydawało mi się, że kojarzę te miejsce, ale dopiero po około minucie doszło do mnie, że scenę nakręcono w opuszczonej bazie NATO w Bagnoli, gdzie blisko dwie dekady temu pracowałem. Trochę zmyliła mnie karuzela przed głównym budynkiem dowództwa, ale z drugiej strony jest on na tyle charakterystyczny, że trudno go pomylić.

[ENG] I tried to watch an Italian drama "Fortuna", the plot is loosely based on real tragic events in the suburbs of Naples, it's not about the mafia, but about the sexual abuse of a few years old children by a neighbour from the block. The film is very artistic in form and difficult to watch, but my attention was drawn to the first scene, or rather its background. At first, I thought I recognised the location, but it took me a minute or so to realise that the scene was filmed at the abandoned NATO base in Bagnoli, where I worked nearly two decades ago. I was a little confused by the carousel in front of the main command building, but on the other hand, it is so distinctive that it is hard to misplace.
