Od dłuższego czasu wybierałem się do Lobbes, niewielkie miasteczko nad Sambrą tworzy ciekawe połączenie z sąsiednim Thuin po drugiej stronie rzeki. Byłem tam wielokrotnie na rowerowych przejażdżkach, raz z żoną na niedzielnym spacerze (wspinaczce) po Thuin. Tym razem zdecydowałem się na samotny spacer z kijkami po okolicy.

[ENG] I had been heading to Lobbes for a long time, the small town on the Sambra River forms an interesting link with neighbouring Thuin on the other side of the river. I had been there many times on bike rides, once with my wife on a Sunday walk (climb) around Thuin. This time I decided to take a solo walk with poles around the area.

Tradycyjnie odpowiednią trasę znalazłem na Wikiloc.com, wybrałem około 14 kilometrową pętle, która zaczynała się przed Collégiale Saint-Ursmer w Lobbes, a następnie prowadziła w stronę Thuin. Bardzo ciekawa trasa, odkryłem te miejsce w zupełnie inny sposób niż dotychczas. Wcześniej kojarzyłem Lobbes i Thuin jako dwa historyczne miasteczka położone po przeciwnych stronach wijącej się w dolinie Sambry. Dziś dzięki temu, że podążałem trasą, którą przeszedł ktoś wcześniej przede mną, najprawdopodobniej ktoś z miejscowych, mogłem zagłębić się w zupełnie nieznane regiony. Miałem świadomość, że dojdę do celu.

[ENG] Traditionally I found a suitable route on Wikiloc.com, I chose a loop of about 14 kilometres that started in front of the Collégiale Saint-Ursmer in Lobbes and then led towards Thuin. A very interesting route, I discovered the place in a completely different way than before. I had previously associated Lobbes and Thuin as two historic towns on opposite sides of the winding Sambra valley. Today, thanks to the fact that I was following the route taken by someone who had gone before me, most likely a local, I was able to delve into completely unknown regions. I was aware that I would reach my destination.

Niezwykłym okryciem były "wiszące ogrody w Thuin", wcześniej skupiałem się na mieście od strony rzeki, a okazało się, że po drugiej stronie średniowiecznego miasta jest wiele interesujących miejsc. Myślę, że wrócę tam jeszcze nie raz, może z rowerem, bo oprócz świetnej trasy wzdłuż rzeki, jest tam kilka ciekawych tras o różnych poziomach trudności, myślę, że na pierwszy ogień pójdzie trasa po dawnych torach kolejowych, która zaczyna się przy Muzeum Tramwajarskie. Przy okazji w ten weekend można było pojeździć sobie starymi tramwajami, ale o tym dowiedziałem się dopiero po fakcie, chociaż widziałem te tramwaje w ruchu, ale były poza moim szlakiem. Bardzo udany dzień.

[ENG] The "hanging gardens in Thuin" were an unusual occurrence, I had previously focused on the city from the riverside, and it turned out that there were many interesting places on the other side of the medieval city. I think I will return there more than once, maybe with a bike, because in addition to the great route along the river, there are several interesting routes with different levels of difficulty, I think the first fire will be the route on the former railway tracks, which starts at the Tramway Museum. By the way, you could ride old trams this weekend, but I only found out about it after the fact, although I did see the trams in motion, they were off my route. A very successful day.
