[PL] W słynnym lesie Hallerbos (Niebieskim Lesie) byłem na spacerze dwa lata temu z żoną i przyznam szczerze, że byłem rozczarowany, bo wydał mi się on zwyczajny. Fioletowe hiacynty rosną też w lesie Havre blisko mnie i wydawało mi się, że "niebieski las" jest przereklamowany. Po dzisiejszej wizycie zmieniło się moje postrzeganie tego lasu. Tajemnicą tego lasu jest odpowiedni moment, dwa lata temu byliśmy w ostatnich dnia kwitnienia kwiatów.

[EN] First time I went for a walk in the famous Hallerbos forest (the Blue Forest) two years ago with my wife and I must admit I was disappointed as it seemed ordinary. Purple hyacinths also grow in the Havre forest near me and I thought the 'blue forest' was overrated. After today's visit, my perception of this forest has changed. The secret of this forest is the right moment, two years ago we were in the last days of the flowers blooming.

[PL] Dziś trafiliśmy na niebieski las w pełnej krasie. Absolutnie magiczne miejsce, niebieskie dywany po obu stronach drogi są zjawiskowe. Mimo tego, że byliśmy w środku tygodnia to było dość dużo ludzi, ale w weekendy jest o wiele gorzej. Może jeszcze wrócę tam w tym tygodniu z córką. Mam świadomość, że fotografie oddają tylko część tego piękna. Poza tym sam las jest bardzo przyjemny na spacery, dobrze oznaczone ścieżki, podzielone na te ogólnodostępne dla wszystkich i takie, które są przeznaczone dla określonej aktywności np. jazda na rowerze lub jazda konna. Należy respektować tych obostrzeń, bo wokół lasu jest wiele stadnin i bardzo często można tam spotkać jeźdźców na koniach.

[EN] Today we hit the blue forest in its full glory. Absolutely magical place, the blue carpets on both sides of the road are phenomenal. Even though we were in the middle of the week it was quite crowded, but at weekends it is much worse. I might still go back there this week with my daughter. I am aware that the photographs only capture part of the beauty. Apart from that, the forest itself is very pleasant for walks, with well-marked paths divided into those open to the public and those for specific activities such as cycling or horse riding. These restrictions must be respected, as there are many stud farms around the forest and very often horse riders can be found there.
