[EN] Yesterday's result was supposed to be slightly higher, but the weather thwarted my plans and it ended as it did. Congratulations to @cezary-io, because competing with him is pure pleasure, it's always exciting and unpredictable, the statistics of our previous direct battles in #POLIAC are tied.

[EN] Today, after sleeping off my night shift, I grabbed my nordic walking poles and headed into the woods, as my tournament schedule proved to be very difficult, day after day I had to face two of the top participants in the contest. I had already managed to beat @practicaleric once, but that didn't guarantee it would be the same today. Hence the few hours spent walking with poles in the Bois de Baudour.

[EN] Bois de Baudour is north-west of Mons, I have further to it than the forest in Havre, but it is 2-3 times bigger and I am definitely less familiar with it. I usually follow the main roads crossing this forest, and today I decided to go off it to the side on a narrow path. It turned out to be a great idea as I discovered the ruins of a mysterious building in the middle of the forest. Later I found information online that these are "Les tunnels inclinés de Baudour" (The slanting tunnels of Baudour). I also discovered the entrance to these tunnels, but was afraid to go inside myself.

[EN] The forest is dotted with several ponds that bear witness to the former exploitation of clay. This soil was used to improve the limestone soils, as well as in the numerous local factories for porcelain and other refractory materials that operated in Baudour in the 19th and 20th centuries.

[PL] Wczorajszy wynik miał być nieco wyższy, ale pogoda pokrzyżowała mi plany i skończyło się tak jak się skończyło. Gratulacje dla @cezary-io, bo rywalizacja z nim to czysta przyjemność, jest zawsze ekscytująca i nieprzewidywalne, a statystyka naszych dotychczasowych bezpośrednich starć w #POLIAC jest na remis.

[PL] Dziś po odespaniu nocnej zmiany chwyciłem za kijki od nordic walking i ruszyłem do lasu, bo mój terminarz rozgrywek okazał się bardzo trudny, dzień po dniu musiałem stawić czoła dwóm czołowym uczestnikom rywalizacji. Raz udało mi się już pokonać @practicaleric, ale to nie gwarantuje, że dziś będzie podobnie. Stąd kilka godzin spędzonych na chodzeniu z kijkami po Bois de Baudour.

[PL] Las Baudour jest położony na północny-zachód od Mons, mam do niego dalej niż do lasu w Havre, ale jest on 2-3 razy większy i zdecydowanie słabiej go znam. Zazwyczaj poruszałem się po głównych ścieżkach przecinających ten las, a dziś zdecydowałem się zejść głównej drogi w bok wąską ścieżką. Okazało to się strzałem w dziesiątkę bo odkryłem ruiny tajemniczej budowli w środku lasu. Znalazłem w sieci informacje, że są to "Les tunnels inclinés de Baudour" (Skośne tunele Baudour). Odkryłem też wejście do tych tuneli, ale sam bałem się wejść do środka.

[PL] Las jest usiana kilkoma stawami, które są świadkami dawnej eksploatacji gliny. Gleba ta była wykorzystywana do ulepszania gleb wapiennych, a także w licznych miejscowych fabrykach porcelany i innych materiałów ogniotrwałych, działających w XIX i XX wieku w Baudour.
