Przyszła pora na świąteczne porządki, niemal cały dzień spędziliśmy na sprzątaniu, przy okazji zerkałem przez okno co też nowego konstruują Belgowie pod naszym oknem. Próby zagospodarowania tego terenu trwają niemal od chwili kiedy tu się przeprowadziliśmy półtora roku temu. W zeszły roku zdjęli wierzchnią warstwę darni i zrobili rekultywację całego terenu, zasiali jakąś trawę i zostawili to prawie na rok. Po roku ten teren wyglądał podobnie do tego na początku, czyli fatalnie.

ENG It was time for the Christmas cleaning, we spent almost the whole day at home, in the middle time I peeked through the window, to see new construction under our window. Attempts to develop this area have been made almost since we moved here a year and a half ago. Last year, they took off the top layer of turf and recultivated the whole ground, sowed some grass and left it for almost a year. After a year, the area looked similar to the one at the beginning, which was fatal.

Na wiosnę wjechał ciężki sprzęt, ponownie zrobili rekultywację ziemi, na nasadzili jakiejś wysokiej trawy po bokach, a później na kilka miesięcy zniknęli, ale tylko pracownicy bo cały sprzęt został, przez całe lato stały pod oknem jakieś koparki, walce i inne maszyny. Pod koniec września znowu się pojawili robotnicy, w ciągu dwóch trzech dni zakończyli pracę i znowu zniknęli tym razem ze sprzętem. Dziś natomiast pojawili się znowu i zrobili ogrodzenie wokół oczka wodnego, czemu to ma służyć nie wiem. Żartowałem do żony, że wpuszczą tam karpia i płot ma chronić, żeby nikt go nie złowił.

ENG In the spring heavy equipment entered, again they did land reclamation, planted some tall grass on the sides, and then disappeared for a few months, but only the workers, because all the equipment was left, some excavators, rollers and other machines were standing under my window all summer. At the end of September, the workers appeared again, finished their work within two or three days and disappeared again this time with the equipment. Today, however, they appeared again and made a fence around the pond, why is this supposed to serve, I don't know. I joked to my wife that they would let a carp in there and the fence would protect it so that no one would fish it.
